Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do I know if I need therapy?
You don't have to wait until you feel like you can't function to seek therapy. Even if you don't think you have mental health problems or aren't "sick enough" to need treatment, having a supportive person with an objective perspective to talk with can be extremely beneficial in achieving a more fulfilling life.

How long is a session?
The initial intake session is usually about 60 minutes. This allows time for me to get to know you and develop an accurate understanding of your experiences and needs. Subsequent sessions are typically 50 minutes. This is where we work on accomplishing the objectives we identify in your initial session.
-
What are your fees?
The initial intake session is $185 and subsequent sessions are $160.
-
Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider and therefore do not accept insurance. I believe that therapy should be guided by your needs and not dictated by insurance. I am happy to provide you with a monthly form if you would like to submit an out-of-network claim for reimbursement from your insurance.
