How I Work:​
My work is primarily grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), approaches that help you better understand patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and build practical skills to respond more flexibly to life’s challenges.
I also integrate other evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), when they support your goals and needs. I have advanced training in RO-DBT, a specialized approach designed to help individuals who struggle with overcontrol, perfectionism, rigidity, and feeling stuck.
All of my work is informed by a Health at Every Size®–aligned, weight-neutral perspective, and I incorporate Intuitive Eating principles to support healing your relationship with food and your body.
In addition to in-person sessions at my Houston office, I offer video therapy through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to clients located in Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, New Jersey, and Nebraska.​
