Relief & Recovery Psychotherapy
Dancers & Athletes
As a former professional cheerleader and dancer, I understand firsthand the intense pressure performers and athletes face to excel, and to look a certain way while doing it.
That’s why I’m passionate about helping dancers, cheerleaders, golfers, and all competitive athletes develop a healthier relationship with food, body, and movement. Whether you’re dealing with performance anxiety, body image struggles, or disordered eating, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Therapy can help you:
-
Quiet the inner critic and overcome perfectionism
-
Reconnect with joy in movement, not just performance
-
Reduce anxiety around food, weight, or body shape
-
Work collaboratively with coaches and support staff to foster a healthy, high-performing environment
-
Build self-trust and confidence, both in and out of competition
These are the kinds of pressures I understand not just clinically, but personally.
Together, we’ll explore what it means to take care of your body as a teammate, not an enemy, and find a path forward that supports both your mental health and your goals.
You deserve to thrive, not just perform.
