Perfectionism

Perfectionism isn’t just about being organized or driven. It’s the inner pressure to always do more, do better, or get it right, and the belief that anything less is failure. Maybe you never feel good enough, even when you're achieving everything on paper. Or maybe you’re so afraid of falling short that you procrastinate, overwork, or avoid things altogether.

You’ll learn to quiet the inner critic, release unrealistic pressure, and show up with more clarity, confidence, and flexibility.

In therapy, we’ll:

  • Explore where perfectionism started, and what keeps it in place

  • Challenge all-or-nothing thinking and the fear of failure

  • Loosen the grip of self-criticism and people-pleasing

  • Build flexibility in how you think, feel, and respond, especially when things don’t go as planned

  • Reconnect with your values and sense of identity beyond achievement

This isn’t about lowering your standards. It’s about finding a more sustainable way to succeed, without beating yourself up in the process.

Doing well shouldn’t mean constantly feeling not good enough.
