Life Transitions

Even when life changes are supposed to be positive, like graduating, starting a new job, moving, or becoming a parent, they can still feel overwhelming, disorienting, or lonely. When change is sudden or unwanted, such as a breakup, loss, or career disruption, it can shake your sense of identity, stability, or direction.

Transitions often bring up questions like:
“Who am I now?”
“What’s next?”
“Why does this feel harder than I expected?”

If you’re feeling stuck between chapters, therapy can help you move forward with more clarity and self-trust.

In therapy, we will explore the emotional impact of change, the fears or beliefs that might be getting in your way, and help you find more clarity around what comes next.

Together we can work on things like:

  • Processing the grief, fear, or confusion that often come with major life changes

  • Exploring identity shifts and what they bring up for you

  • Loosening the grip of perfectionism, self-doubt, or fear of getting it wrong

  • Strengthening your ability to cope with uncertainty and make grounded decisions

  • Reconnecting with your values, priorities, and sense of direction

Change can feel disorienting, but it does not have to lead to chaos or self-doubt. With the right support, transitions  can become an opportunity for perspective, growth, and meaningful change.

Uncertainty is part of change, but you don’t have to face it alone.
